Sunday's pictures - It's cold in Paris. Better bundle up if you're going to the Tuileries Garden!

Forget the little Eiffel Tower trinkets made in China--this clever entrepreneur knows what everyone needs in Paris this week. Hats!

Update - It's snowing in Paris!

After preparing this post last night, I woke up to a light dusting of snow. I can't wait to go out and play. Please click on any of the photos that you would like to enlarge.

Slip and slide...or is that slip and glide.
Catching the last rays of sunshine.
Fur coats and long shadows.
Who is that masked man?
Paris is still beautiful...even when it's freezing.

  1. I need to find a mask like that! Recently, any time I step outside I shout "My face is freezing!". Glad you finally got some pretty snow in Paris.

    1. LOL! I keep telling everyone that it's so cold that my face hurts! The other day I was wrapped up like a ninja because I couldn't bear the cold wind anymore. But now we have snow!!! :)

  2. I had a perfect song for this post, to make it a true Sunday Pictures and a Song, but I don't like the versions I found on You Tube. It's "tu aurais froid dehors" but the versions are amateurish--I'm surprised it's not been covered by French singers. I love the Dolly Parton and Rod Stewart version, in English that is. Anyway, stay warm and heat up the hot chocolate.

  3. Thanks for the perfect song selection, Joseph. I'm going to add the Dolly Parton and Rod Stewart version to the post. And speaking of Rod Stewart, I have a wonderful memory of driving along Lake Shore Drive in Chicago while listening to "The Great American Songbook". Lake Michigan, the city, the music -- all great!
