If you were expecting a regular post today, I'm sorry. There's something so magical about the first snowfall of the season, even if it happens in February, that I'm officially declaring it a snow day. So, put on your mittens, grab your warmest coat and let's go to the Luxembourg Gardens. Please click on any of the photos to enlarge.
A dad and his daughter let me take a photo of the miniature snowman that they were taking home.
Just the right size for a Parisian apartment.
And then I spied "ZC", a snowman with suicidal tendencies or a Parisian attitude.
Yes, ZC has a cigarette in his mouth - good thing he doesn't have a match to light it!
The snow didn't stop these kids from having fun on their trotinettes...
or this woman from doing her Sunday yoga practice in the park.
Palais de Luxembourg. Off limits in the snow.
Moms at work - bundling babies, little kids...
and big ones, too!
Memories of summers past...
"Yes, it's a real 'Dior for Dogs'! Where's yours, big guy?"
Up close and personal with a lion. The frozen fountain at St. Sulpice make a good ice skating rink.
